Principal Tiffani Byers

With great excitement, I write to you as the new principal of LEAP Academy. I am honored to join the LEAP community. I entered the world of education 16 years ago. In 2009 I joined CPS as a teacher at South Avondale School and later moved to Bond Hill. As a teacher, I have held many leadership positions, such as lead teacher and STEM specialist. In 2021, I began my administrative career as the Assistant Principal of Fairview-German Language School. 

I was born and raised in Cincinnati. I earned my degrees at Mount Saint Joseph University. My husband and I have two children whom we love dearly. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, painting, watching Disney/Pixar movies, and crafting.

I believe all children can learn when supported, held to high expectations, and given the tools to succeed.  I want to congratulate our staff and students on the academic growth shown during the 2022-23 year. I believe in LEAP and our community.  I am here to support LEAP as we continue to excel through rigorous core academic instruction in English and Spanish.
